We spent the day with my great Uncle Wilbur last week. He is a WWII Veteran and has a book full of clippings, stories, photos, that we have never seen before. My mom was fascinated and we asked lots of questions. Uncle Wilbur talked proudly and openly about his experiences at the end of the war. We scanned the articles and photos so they can be appreciated for a long long time by everyone, not just those of us lucky enough to get to look through the book. That book by the way, my late Great Aunt Dorothy put together while Uncle Wilbur was in the war and it’s a testament to the impact those events had on everyone, soldiers abroad, and the families at home.I’m sure it’s not different with any war.
