It's not a hamburger. It's not like a hamburger. It's a patty of goodness, and I love it!!
Price = $4.99
Cooking = Easy
Texture = Crunch on the outside, moist on the inside. (cooked in T. olive oil)
Flavor = Nutty, roasted, very satisfying
With Bread = Makes an excellent sandwich with salad cream, ketchup, mayo, or mustard.
With Other Things = Fresh tomato slice, soup, slice of onion…all amazing combos.
Would I buy again? = YES, I’m going to try other Amy’s foods for sure.
Why? = I am cutting red meat out of my routine for the most part and I am seriously having a craving for that burger thing, whatever that craving is. I was skeptical, very very skeptical. I cooked these patties in a bit of olive oil, put it on my plate, pulled off a little bite and the first taste was such a surprise.
I loved the nutty flavor. They taste kind of roasted, rich and slightly sweet, but vegetabley (if that’s a word). The texture is nothing nothing nothing like a hamburger, so don’t get your mind in that arena. It’s a loafy type texture, and I cooked it just right with a nice crunch on the outside and very moist and soft on the inside.
Now I look forward to trying some other similar things like sausages, enchiladas, Indian dinner….time will tell how it all turns out.

I really enjoyed it I prefer it to a home made meat hamburger there is so much more flavor.
